Ikigai Overview

  • Ikigai Coaching offers a steady, holistic space for clients navigating identity, transition, or purpose. Rooted in the Japanese of ikigai - concept of “reason for being”. What the world needs, what you love, what you are good at what will sustain you.

  • Purpose is found and then claimed. Purpose must be livable. Purpose invites movement.

  • Ikigai is purpose and goal orientated. It is not a personality test. It’s a desire. Insights alone are not enough.

  • Your background experiences shape your purpose. Lineage, barriers, rhythm and breakthroughs matter. We don’t isolate purpose from your lived reality - we root purpose and service in what you’ve chosen, resisted and reclaimed

Framing Statement for Ikigai Path work

  • There is no need to be certain. We begin where you are. This path work meets you in motion - in your questions, the contradictions and the quiet truths already forming.

  • Purpose is not a destination, not a slogan, it’s something you shape. Ikigai is the slow work of naming what matters, blesses you and what you’re ready to carry forward in flow.

  • If your work feels misaligned or your care goes unseen, we don’t rush to fix it. We hold your reality gently, being brave to see options and track what shifts you recognize over time.

What do we Explore

  • We look beyond titles and tasks and ask ourselves under our roles: What brings you energy? What feels misused or under used? What have you outgrown?

  • You may love deeply and give generously - but how does this bless or enrich your own life?

  • We name what keeps you afloat - and what help you rise. Not every skill is a gift or a calling. Not every gift or calling pays. We explore that tension in reality.

  • The pull between obligation and longing. We explore where duty shaped your choices - and where longing still waits. Not every role reflects desire. Not ever desire fits the roles you have held.

  • There’s a quiet resistance to being defined. You may have been named, labeled, or measured by others. We explore what you have refused, what you’ve reclaiming and what names you desire moving forward.

What Do We Work On

  • Locating your personal Ikigai through lived experience. We don’t chase inspiration we graph it. Together we map what you love, what you’re skilled at, what the world needs, and what sustains you. Each pillar is explored through tactile reflection and authorship.

  • Looking at and naming misalignments without shame. If your work drains you or passion doesn’t pay, we do not bypass it. We hold the contradiction and track what’s real. Ikigai is not harmony - its honest alignment.

  • You will build a visual tool, a compass that reflect your evolving. path. The compass helps you track weekly shifts in purpose, refusals and direction - anchored in your own language.

  • We copartner to reinforce movement by linking insights to commitment - what you’ll do, why it matters, and how it fits your ikigai.

  • We revisit the four pillars weekly. Ikigai is not static. We return to the four questions each, hoping for a soft land of awareness. What deepened, what shifted. How does this feel and what no longer fits. Your terrain is yours; it is your Ikigai.
